Cat Seeing Double

A wedding that starts off with a bang.  Three talking cats over hearing a man and boy.  A women fining her ex-husband dead.  A dog that looks like one of the cats.  Put these together and you get Cat Seeing Double by Shirley Rousseau Murphy.

I was very much surprised that the double in the title referred to a dog that matched one of the cats in coloring. At the beginning of the book, a bomb goes off in the church where a wedding was about to take place.  Most of the town was there.  Luckily, Kit over heard enough to warn the other cats and they phoned it in to the police who got everyone out before the bomb went off.  The wedding does go on.

Then the ex of the construction company is found dead at her place and she had the gun that killed him.  The cats again help the regulars solve the crime and find the one who did the nasty dead.

I have fallen in love with these books and wish my cats would speak to me or know enough to dial 911 if I ever needed them too.  Looking forward to reading more of this series.
